Sent Tokens to Wrong Network
Accidentally sent tokens to a correct address but on the wrong blockchain network.
This guide covers 4 verified steps to resolve "Sent Tokens to Wrong Network". Follow each step in order before moving to the next. If the steps below don't resolve your issue, use the community support options at the bottom of this page.
Check If Address Exists on That Chain
EVM-compatible chains (ETH, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum) share the same address format. If you sent from ETH to a BSC address, the recipient likely has the same address on ETH too.
Import Wallet on Destination Chain
If you control the receiving wallet, add the destination network to MetaMask and import the same wallet. Your tokens may be sitting there on that chain.
For Non-EVM Chains (Solana/BTC)
Sending ETH to a Solana address is typically unrecoverable. Contact the receiving exchange or wallet provider immediately — some have recovery processes.
Exchange Deposits
If sent to an exchange address on the wrong chain, contact the exchange support team immediately with your tx hash. Many exchanges (Binance, Kraken) have recovery services, sometimes with a fee.
