Understand Reward Distribution
Some protocols distribute rewards per block, others per epoch (daily/weekly). Read the protocol docs — rewards may only be claimable after a certain period.
Claim Rewards Manually
Many DeFi protocols don't auto-send rewards. Go to the staking UI, connect wallet, and click "Harvest", "Claim", or "Collect" to receive pending rewards.
Add Reward Token to Wallet
Reward tokens (like CAKE, CRV, AAVE) need to be imported to MetaMask before they show. Get the contract address from the protocol's official site.
Check Lock Period
Some staking pools have lock-up periods. Your rewards may be accumulating but are locked until a certain date or unlock condition.
